The international teaching staff of the Institute is headed by chef Maki Stevenson. Maki received her chef diploma from the Natural Gourmet Institute of I.C.E. in New York and has 15 years of teaching experience. After moving to Hungary, she launched her own cooking school, Makifood, in 2007. Maki Stevenson was honoured by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan as Goodwill Ambassador for Japanese Cuisine in 2017.
She has been supported in her work by an international chef team for 10 years now.

The 1 year long Culinary Arts Program, offered for adults, will help you learn to prepare and serve health-conscious, tasty dishes of high quality in a professional kitchen environment. You will also learn gastro-marketing and entrepreneurship, and could become ready to start and manage your own business. Our school will issue to students a Diploma upon successful completion of the C.I.E. curriculum and practical internship hours in Budapest.

The course will give you insight into both the theory and practice of professional cooking. You will learn various basic techniques of cooking, frying, roasting and baking, and will be able to use them with confidence.
CIE is located in an brand new exclusive venue in downtown of Budapest with excellent transport facilities. The campus is equipped with two professional kitchens, a state-of-the-art lecture room, and with a gastro art gallery event space.
